Frequently Asked Questions

Will we get the footage from our ceremony and speeches?

As well as your feature film and trailer, you will also receive separate videos of your ceremony and/or speeches (depending on your package). We usually operate at least 2 tripod-mounted cameras during your ceremony and speeches. This footage is given basic editing in a non-cinematic style.


While we do our best to obtain clear footage and audio throughout your ceremony and speeches, we cannot guarantee to capture everything. Before your wedding day we will discuss your priorities with you.

How long will it take to receive my wedding videos?

All our films are unique and take different times to create. We only deliver your wedding video when we’re 100% happy with it. This can take up to 6 weeks, but in many cases will be far sooner.

Are you insured?

Yes. We are fully insured with public liability insurance for all of our services.

What areas do you cover?

Many of the weddings we film are in the North West. However, we are open to working further afield, so please do enquire.

All of our package prices cover a 50 mile radius of Carnforth, Lancashire. We do cover outside this area at cost of £2 per extra mile (one way, based on shortest distance by road). So, for example, if your wedding venue is 80 miles away from Carnforth (30 miles outside our catchment area), you can expect to pay an additional £60 on top of your package cost.

Do we get access to all the raw video and audio footage from the day?

At no additional cost, we are more than happy to provide all the unedited, raw video and audio files from your wedding day. Please get in touch with Jack if you would like this content. We use Dropbox to backup and share these files when requested.

Can we choose which music goes on our film?

Yes. While we can’t offer the use of popular music due to copyright (i.e music which you need to pay licensing for) we're more than happy for you to browse the royalty free music libraries which we use – namely and – and choose a few songs that you like. As part of our preparations for your wedding, we ask that you fill in an online consultation form which, along with other details, asks you about your filming and music preferences. This gives us a better insight into the type of music to use for your videos.

Can we meet beforehand to discuss details of the wedding?

Absolutely! We love to meet the couples we’re going to be filming on the day, but understand this isn’t always possible. We can arrange a video call if unable to meet in person.

Is drone footage included?

Yes. All of our wedding videography packages include drone footage. However, as it is weather dependent, it is not guaranteed that we will be able to operate the drone on the day. We always try our best to get amazing aerial shots of your venues and their surroundings if it's possible. We are unable to fly our drone safely in rain or strong winds. 

How many cameras will there be?

We currently shoot our films with one person, up to 3 cameras and audio recording equipment. This ensures that our presence at your wedding is as non-intrusive as possible while capturing all the best moments.

Will our videos be available to download?

Yes, we'll provide you will a secure Dropbox link where you can download all of the videos we create for you, and we'll keep this download link active for 6 months after your wedding. Each couple will also receive their videos on a USB drive, delivered to your address.

Are we allowed to post our videos on social media and other websites?

Of course. We want you to share the memories that we've captured for you. Feel free to share any material that Jura creates for you - they're yours at the end of the day! 

Do you charge a deposit?

We require a 20% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. The remaining 80% balance is due no later than one week before your wedding date.
